Mission and Values

Lime Tree Primary School Mission Statement

As a growing school, we embrace challenge and aim to 'Learn Together to Achieve Success'. This is embedded in our Mission Statement and Values.

We respect and value every individual in our school community; and will inspire, challenge and support each other to achieve success.

Lime Tree Primary School Values

Within the Lime Tree School Community and GLF Schools we believe that school is a place 'where children grow, learn and flourish together'.

At Lime Tree we believe that it's not just what you learn but how you learn; children need to become learners for life to reach their full potential. We use the four Lime Tree Values to support our aim: ‘Learn Together to Achieve Success’.

The four Lime Tree Values are: cooperation, courage, resilience and responsibility. The School Values are closely linked to the British Values (see British Values at Lime Tree) and are embedded in daily life at Lime Tree. This includes Monday’s Value Assembly which focuses on one value and challenges the children to work towards that value during that week. Children who display the values during the week earn tokens towards their house and at the end of each half term the winning house are announced (see House Information). Furthermore, every Friday afternoon we celebrate children’s successes through our Celebration Assembly where a certificate is given to one child in every class who have displayed a particular value extremely well.
