GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

The total time this amounts to is 6 hours and 20 minutes a day, or 31 hours each week.

We aim to offer a variety of after school activities each term. Parents and carers will always need to provide written consent for each activity.

At the end of each full term, school may finish earlier in the afternoon.

At other times school only finishes early for special events or for emergencies (eg very bad weather). Where possible, parents and carers will be told in advance of such early closures, but children will be supervised at school until such time that a parent or carer can arrange for their collection.
