GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

15 and 30 Hour Codes

ALL children are eligible for 15 hours of Nursery funding a week from the term after they turn 3 years old, this is called the "universal offer". Working parents of 3- and 4-year-olds may be eligible for an extended entitlement of an additional 15 hours (often called 30 hours childcare). From September 2025, working parents of 2-year-olds may also be eligible for 30 hours a week of nursery funding from the term after their child turns 9 months old.  Please visit the Childcare Choices website for full details on early years funding: Childcare Choices | 30 Hours Free Childcare, Tax-Free Childcare and More | Help with Costs | GOV.UK  Some families of 2-year-olds may also be eligible for 15 hours of funding from the term after they turn 2 - this is called FEET/Disadvantage Funding.  Please go to the Local Authority Website and search for 2-year-old funding for details on eligibility and how to apply online. Apply for your code and receive it by 31st August 2025 – use it from 1st September 2025 onwards.  Apply for your code and receive it by 31st December 2025 - use it from 1st January 2026 onwards.  Apply for your code and receive it by 31st March 2026 - use it from 1st April 2026 onwards.
